finding reality difficult

As I mentioned before J is away on a trip with her bf in Missouri. She is being very good and phoning us everyday, sometimes twice, to let us know how she is. I think she is missing a certain amount of independence as she is stuck with doing what bf wants to do. He is in the Navy and does not get to see his bro often so they are doing a lot of 'guy' things. She told me they spent the day fishing after walking for what seemed like 5 miles and ending up almost back at where they left the truck before finding the 'right' place! Last night bf spent the evening playing pool with his mates and although J joined in for a while she said she was 'lonely' sitting at a table watching them. Poor dear is finding reality difficult!
